Location: Yaphank, New York (with occasional overnight stays for projects)

We are currently seeking a skilled and communicative Installer Mechanic to join our dedicated team.
Job Description:
As an Installer Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing various high-density mobile storage systems and office furniture in accordance with project requirements. Your attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring successful installations. You will lead crews of 2 to 8 members and work closely with our high-end clients to deliver outstanding results. Please note that occasional overnight stays may be required for certain projects, with all hotel accommodations covered by the company. This is a full-time or part-time position with prevailing wage projects, overtime, bonuses, and a 401(k) available.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to OSHA safety guidelines throughout installations.
- Thoroughly review installation guidelines, seeking clarification when needed.
- Assess and advise on the suitability of proposed installation areas.
- Test devices and equipment to verify functionality and address any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of installation sites promptly.
- Follow all relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide end-of-day photos with detailed reports.
Requirements:
- Experience in various installation projects.
- Ability to interpret and apply installation instructions with discretion.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Capacity to seek clarification and resolve ambiguous requests.
- OSHA certification is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable with on-the-road work.
